As pessoas são diferentes, e, portanto, têm visões diferentes sobre os assuntos. Ocorre que atualmente o respeito pela opinião alheia tem se tornado algo raro. Qualquer posicionamento que você tome  contrário ao pensamento de certas pessoas, torna-se motivo de conflito.

Vou além, o último episódio que aconteceu em Orlando em uma boate GLS é o símbolo disto tudo! Da intolerância, da falta de respeito pelas diferenças. Pois conheço muita gente que apesar de não ser adepta do terrorismo, e se dizer “contra a violência”. Contudo, parecem uma bomba pronta para explodir, ou descarregar a sua metralhadora cheia de mágoas e veneno diante do inconformismo de quem ousa ter uma opinião ou ser diferente.

Ora, o fato de fulano pensar ou agir contrário a mim não me dá o direito de ser grossa com ele. Vivemos numa democracia, certo? Portanto o exercício dessa liberdade nos permite expor nossas crenças, ainda que estejamos equivocados.

Afinal ter argumentos é louvável, mas saber respeitar as diferenças é primordial. Evelyn Beatrice Hall, disse: “posso não concordar com nenhuma palavra que você disser, mas defenderei até a morte o seu direito de dizê-las” .
