Eu posso te prometer as minhas ações, mas não os meus sentimentos, pois estes são involuntários,  como já dizia o Cazuza. “Quando a gente gosta na maioria das vezes,  gosta sem querer (sem planejar) e a gente não pode ficar esperando que esta pessoa caiba no nosso sonho“.

Quem promete a alguém amá-lo sempre ou odiá-lo sempre ou ser-lhe sempre fiel, promete algo que não está em seu poder,  o que se pode prometer são atitudes que na verdade, são geralmente as consequências dos sentimentos que tenho (amor, fidelidade, ódio), mais também pode provir de outros motivos, ex: respeito, pois  uma só ação conduz a diversos caminhos e motivos diferentes.

A promessa de amar alguém sempre significa, portanto: enquanto eu te amar, te mostrarei as ações do amor, se não te amar mais, continuará, no entanto, a receber de mim as mesmas ações, embora por outros motivos; de modo que na cabeça dos outros persiste a aparência de que o amor estaria inalterado e sempre o mesmo.

Promete-se, portanto, a persistência da aparência do amor, quando se jura a alguém amor eterno.

 

Ps. Não quero o que a cabeça pensa, quero o que a alma deseja.
